Stop Looking at the Walls, Look out the Window

Stop Looking at the Walls, look out the Window PosterThe first time I’ve seen an artwork by Jim McElvaney has been in “InsideOut and ViceVersa” exhibition and I’ve really liked his original style and his way of using the media, so now it’s a pleasure to introduce his new solo show: “Stop Looking at the Walls, Look out the Window” at No Walls gallery.

Here the press release of the exhibition:

Bringing together an eclectic mix of figurative drawings, paintings and prints Stop Looking at the Walls, look out the Window encourages the audience to look beyond the familiarity of ideological portraiture and see things from a different perspective, highlighting the complexity of human emotion and it’s various interpretations.

Following the success of his solo show earlier this year at The Outsiders, Newcastle, Stop Looking at the Walls, Look out the Window precedes shows in Seoul, Moscow and London in what has already been a big year for Jim.

The show will run from the 30th September to the 23rd October (preview night the 29th September) and you can find more information on the official event page on Facebook.

To conclude a nice video about Jim McElvaney’s Art
